We offer a unique delivery experience to consumers, with the help of a complex universe of digital solutions, and delivery options – Cargus Mobile App, online payment solutions, the Cargus SHIP & GO network.

OUR STORY
Currently, Cargus is one of the most important courier companies in Romania with over 3000 employees and partners, 2500 couriers and a business present in Romania and Poland. The international expansion strategy also includes countries such as: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and Greece.
Cargus launches the Cargus Mobile App, an application dedicated to end customers, which gives them control over the ordered shipment: tracking the route, forwarding to a Cargus SHIP & GO point, payment and return.
Cargus enters the portfolio of Mid Europa Partners, one of the most active investment funds in Central and Eastern Europe, and becomes Cargus.
The founders sell Cargus to the international company DHL. At the time, Cargus had more than 1,700 employees and more than 1,000 courier vehicles, offering services to the local market.
Cargus launches its own network of lockers, thus completing the national out of home delivery network – Cargus SHIP & GO, which currently has more than 3,000 locations – fixed points and lockers.
Cargus acquired QeOPS, one of the most important providers of e-fulfillment services and customized logistics solutions in Romania, complementing its services offered to customers.
Cargus and Urgent Courier become equal partners following a merger process. This is how Urgent Cargus is born. A year later the new company migrates to a common operational platform –Soft Couriers.
Two Romanian entrepreneurs, Carmina and Gusti Pleșea, founded the first domestic courier company in Romania, calling it CARGUS International. The investment budget was approximately 3,000 euro.

We have obtained from EcoVadis, one of the largest rating and certification agencies, the silver medal for sustainability management.
Cargus obtained several awards at the Romanian Contact Center Awards: Best Contact Center (Internal / Medium size) / Best Telesales Department / Best Contact Center Advisor (Key Accounts Desk) / Best Contact Center Team Manager / Best Telesales Consultant / Best Telesales Team Manager.
Cargus was awarded at The Courier & Postal Services Business Awards for Excellence 2022 event, organized by GOVNET Romania, with two awards for “The most impressive business evolution” and “The best web application for delivery services”.
The Cargus Mobile application was designated the best application of a courier company, at the Gala Romanian Courier&Postal Services Business Awards 2021, organized by Govnet.
Cargus ranked first in the customer satisfaction survey conducted by the National Authority that manages Romanian postal operators, ANCOM.
