Cargus enhances its Polish portfolio of clients with an important player

• Cargus offers parcel delivery from Romania to Poland and back, but also on the Romanian market, from consumer to consumer.

• Cargus consolidates its international portfolio in Poland and estimates an increase of 13% in processed parcels in the next two years.

Cargus, one of the largest players in the Romanian courier industry, enriches its portfolio with Vinted, the largest online international consumer-to-consumer marketplace in Europe dedicated to second-hand fashion. This partnership, which started its business in Romania in May , is part of Cargus’ strategy to increase cross-border e-Commerce and to link companies and  shoppers across European markets.

Cargus offers Vinted a complex suite of courier services: parcel delivery from Romania to Poland and back, but also on the domestic market, from consumer to consumer. Users will be able to access the entire Cargus SHIP & GO network of approximately 3,000 fixed points and lockers across Romania and choose the most convenient one to drop-off, pick-up and return a parcel.

Vinted joins a portfolio of large international customers, eCommerce players and important Marketplaces, to whom Cargus offers a wide range of courier services. Cargus set its footprint in Poland less than a year ago and developed a complex operational infrastructure in order to link Polish companies to Romanian consumers. Cargus has put in place a cross-dock facility in Poland, that facilitates shipping operations, offers a maximum capacity of over 15 million parcels per year and a delivery timeframe of 24 and 72 hours, depending on shipment injection setup.

Cargus plans to extend its business to other countries in the region – Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany.
