Cargus receives a new silver EcoVadis medal for sustainability management

Cargus continues to advance and transform into a sustainable organization, both in terms of the activities we carry out and the impact we have on the communities we are part of. And these efforts are recognized internationally.

We are pleased to announce that EcoVadis, the global agency for sustainability management evaluation, has awarded us the silver medal following their annual evaluation process. This is the third consecutive year that we have received EcoVadis recognition, and the second year in which we have earned the silver medal—a result that is even more significant considering that Cargus remains the only Romanian courier company to hold this kind of international recognition. Additionally, this year we achieved a 10% improvement in our internal and external processes, highlighting our sustained efforts in an increasingly rigorous evaluation context. This result places us in the top 15% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis and represents the work of dozens of colleagues from all departments.

EcoVadis evaluated our performance based on four main pillars: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In all these categories, we have made significant progress, strengthening our position among top companies. More information is available here.

To celebrate the evaluation result, EcoVadis will plant a tree in our name through their partnership with One Tree Planted.
