The Târgu Mureș Warehouse Has a New Location as of September, in a More Modern and Expanded Facility

Cargus, one of the leaders in the Romanian courier services market, announces the relocation of its Târgu Mureș warehouse to a new, modern, and expanded facility. This move is part of the company’s strategy to improve and expand its operational capabilities in order to accommodate increasing volumes.

The new warehouse, located in a strategic area of Mureș County, spans over 4,500 square meters, double the size of the previous location. In addition to generous storage spaces, the new facility includes offices and parking spaces and offers modern infrastructure to support the increased activity flow.

State-of-the-Art Capacity and Technology

With the capacity to process up to 7,000 parcels per day, the new warehouse is equipped with advanced technology, including an ARKA sorting belt and a Matiro re-weighing system. These innovative technological solutions will significantly contribute to streamlining processes for both inbound and outbound parcel handling.

Very importantly, the relocation will extend the operational window by at least 1.5 hours for the inbound process, providing more time for parcel management. Additionally, in the outbound stage, the new facility will enable the consolidation of sorting into multiple directional cages, thereby alleviating the load on other facilities, including the Cargus hub in Brașov, and improving the overall operational flow.

The Târgu Mureș warehouse will be supported by a team of 75 employees, including management, couriers, sorters, financial agents, and other essential roles. 60 couriers will directly service this location, ensuring fast and high-quality services for the entire Mureș County.

The new facility in Târgu Mureș will serve the entire county, strengthening operational efficiency and the ability to quickly respond to Cargus customers’ growing needs.
